Wobei es eine Wahl zwischen mehreren &nbsp;Optionen gibt:<br><em>I can&#8217;t speak for all my colleagues, but I suspect it&#8217;s the same for most of them. But there are several options:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. man recheriert f\u00fcr ein neues Buch<br><em>1. doing research for a new book<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. man schreibt ein neues Buch<br><em>2. writing a new book<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. man korrigiert ein neues, bereits geschriebenes Buch (was ich &nbsp;momentan tue, w\u00e4hrend ich auf den n\u00e4chsten Arbeitsschritt warte, der &nbsp;mein ins Englische \u00fcbersetzte Buch betrifft)<br><em>3. proofreading a new book that&#8217;s already been written (which is what &nbsp;I&#8217;m doing at the moment while I wait for the next step in the process, &nbsp;which is having my book translated into English)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Tee trinken (sehr wichtig, wenn man historische Romane schreibt, die in England spielen<br><em>4. drinking tea (very important when writing historical novels set in England)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. eine Marketingstrategie entwickeln (was ich tun sollte, aber ich &nbsp;merke schon, ich lenke mich davon ab, indem ich diesen Post schreibe)<br><em>5. developing a marketing strategy (which I should be doing, but I realise I&#8217;m distracting myself by writing this post)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Blogger kontaktieren und mit kleinen Texth\u00e4ppchen versorgen<br><em>6. contact bloggers and provide them with little tidbits of text<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Neugierde bei den Lesern wecken<br><em>7. pique the reader&#8217;s curiosity&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Einen passenden Titel (unterscheidet sich manchmal vom Arbeitstitel) und Cover w\u00e4hlen<br><em>8. choose an appropriate title (sometimes different from the working title) and cover<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9. Schokolade essen<br><em>9. eat chocolate<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diese paar Dinge sind mir auf die Schnelle eingefallen. Freue mich aber \u00fcber Erg\u00e4nzungen von gesch\u00e4tzten Kollegen. <br><em>These are just a few things I thought of in a flash.
